From a single wheel alignment system to a global line of automotive service equipment — the TreadPlus story is one of engineering commitment, trusted partnerships, and twenty years of keeping workshops accurate.
Every TreadPlus product passes through precision optical calibration, controlled assembly, and full system testing before it ships — anywhere in the world.
Quality is built into every stage — from calibration and assembly through full system testing before any unit ships.
KJC Engineering Canada Inc. is established in Oakville, Ontario — strategically positioned within 40 km of Toronto Pearson International Airport and 90 minutes from the US border crossing at Buffalo. The company begins with a focus on wheel alignment systems for the North American aftermarket, built on a foundation of rigorous engineering standards and direct product expertise.
The early years are defined by building a reputation for reliable, accurate alignment equipment backed by real technical support. KJC establishes direct service channels across Canada and into the United States, differentiating from competitors with hands-on product knowledge and fast parts availability from the Oakville warehouse.
The TreadPlus brand is developed to represent the company's growing product line under a unified identity. The product range expands beyond alignment into wheel balancing and tire tread depth scanning — creating the foundation of a complete tire service ecosystem.
TreadPlus establishes its international partner network: TreadPlus BR in Joinville, Brazil; AlineaPro in Cartago, Costa Rica; ANWA-Tech Sp. z o.o. in Sulejówek, Poland; and TreadPlus China in Beijing. HLT International Pte Ltd in Singapore extends the network into Southeast Asia. Each partner brings regional automotive industry expertise and a commitment to the same technical support standards set in Oakville.
The TreadPlus 9000 series wheel aligners — AIO, Standard, and Mobile — are launched, bringing 3D image tracking, alignment targets and SureAlign software to shops across all six markets. The RTA100 Road Traction Analyzer series (SMT and FMT) introduces drive-over tread depth scanning with ±0.2mm laser accuracy. The QC15 and QC20 touchless tire-grip clamps round out the product ecosystem.
TreadPlus continues expanding its global vehicle database — now covering North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, China, and Latin America — and deepening its digital service infrastructure. The mission remains unchanged: deliver world-class automotive service equipment with the technical support depth that only a founder-led company can provide.
At TreadPlus, every product decision starts with one question: will this make a shop operator's job more accurate, more efficient, and more repeatable? We don't add features for their own sake. We build tools that work — in a busy alignment bay in Oakville, in a fleet workshop in São Paulo, or in a dealership service centre in Warsaw.
Our Oakville headquarters provides the product expertise, certification accountability, and technical support depth that backs every unit we sell. Engineering discipline at the source — and direct accountability to every customer and partner.
Every specification, every calibration, every alignment result must be accurate enough to trust. We hold ourselves to the same standards we ask of our customers' measurements.
Workshop equipment works in harsh conditions. TreadPlus products are built to take daily use across years of service — not to be replaced on a lease cycle.
From 3D image alignment and touchless tire clamping to drive-over tread depth scanning — we pursue technologies that meaningfully improve what a service bay can deliver.
We back every product with technical support that treats dealers and end customers as partners, not ticket numbers. Remote support, stocked parts, and knowledgeable partners — that's the standard.
TreadPlus products are sold and supported by authorized partners on four continents — North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Each partner is selected for their technical depth and commitment to the same service standards we uphold in Oakville.
Whether you're equipping a single shop or building a national distribution network, TreadPlus brings the products, the support, and twenty years of experience to the table.
